Zelenskyy said a meeting with President Trump could take place as early as Friday. During his trip, the Ukrainian leader also plans to meet with key members of Congress, as well as representatives from major defence and energy firms.

In an interview with Fox News’ “The Sunday Briefing,” Zelenskyy called the peace plan in the Middle East “a real success” and said he spoke with Trump on the phone Sunday and expressed hope that his own country’s conflict with Russia and President Vladimir Putin could head in a similar direction with the president’s diplomatic assistance.
