Vodafone has explained the outage that left its home and mobile customers without internet for much of Monday. The problems were the result of “a non-malicious software issue” rather than a cyber attack,
Vodafone, BT, Virgin Media, CityFibre and Sky are among those that have received complaints, with issues spanning across the UK, including Manchester, London, Glasgow and Cardiff. If you've been left without an internet connection, you could be entitled to compensation, without needing to do anything about it.
