Vengeance is one of many defunct WWE PLE names that has been revived by NXT but with a twist. Rather than keeping the original name, WWE tweaked it slightly when it commandeered it for NXT use in 2021,

"WWE NXT" heads to Washington, DC on Saturday for Vengeance Day, which will see a slew of title matches and multiple main roster stars.

NXT is the strongest women’s division on the WWE roster. From talent to booking, NXT’s concerted effort to bring in and spotlight international talent has yielded a pair of undeniable new champions: Women’s Champion Giulia,

Giulia retained her NXT Women's Championship at NXT Vengeance Day, defeating Bayley, Roxanne Perez, and Cora Jade in a four-way bout. The finish saw Perez hit Pop Rox on Bayley, but get pinned with a crucifix by Jade. Perez kicked out, but Jade hit a double arm DDT.

The premium live event is scheduled to start at 6 p.m. EST and will only be available to stream through Peacock. Fans can watch a replay of the event after it airs and they can also check out the pre-show, starting an hour before the PLE, and the live press conference immediately following it.

NXT has been on fire lately with a wealth of young talent showing a ton of promise for WWE‘s future. There was plenty of intrigue heading into NXT Vengeance Day with titles to defend and grudges to settle.
