Liverpool has sent homegrown midfielder Tyler Morton to French club Lyon for a transfer fee of up to 15 million euros.

Tyler Morton, who played a key role in England's Under-21 European Championship triumph, has joined Lyon in search of regular minutes.

After 15 years at his boyhood club, Morton has officially sealed a permanent exit after Liverpool agreed a deal worth £15 million. The club will have a 20 percent sell-on clause, which will bank them further funds if the midfielder is to make another move in the future.
