HBO's upcoming Harry Potter TV series is still in early pre-production, but one name has already reportedly emerged at the top of the network's wishlist for the Dumbledore role.

Mark Rylance is at the top of the casting wishlist for the new HBO "Harry Potter" adaptation, Variety has learned from sources familiar with the project.
