A SWAT team was called to South Fayette after the sheriff's office said deputies had to "take positions of cover" while serving an eviction notice.

An Allegheny County Sheriff’s Office spokesperson says this situation started when deputies tried to service an eviction notice on the 1300 block of Oakridge Road in South Fayette.

Sheriff’s deputies were “attempting to serve an eviction notice” in South Fayette on Oakridge Road when “the situation quickly deteriorated” with shots reportedly being fired at officers.
