Sioux Falls Police are optimistic about the case involving the city’s latest homicide. Officers responded to a stabbing near 14th Street and South Duluth Avenue Saturday morning, in the central part of the city.

Sioux Falls police are investigating the city’s 14th homicide of this year – a stabbing that took place early Saturday morning in a parking lot on South Duluth Avenue. That’s a record high number of homicides in one year.

Aidan Ray Quickbear was taken to an area hospital before Sioux Falls police officers arrived at the scene, Colwill said.

Sioux Falls police are intensifying their search for a second suspect involved in the recent Dunham Park homicide. The community is urged to assist in locating the individual to ensure justice is served.

A 21-year-old Sioux Falls man is headed for prison for a crime spree involving two robberies, a stolen car and a stolen gun. Police arrested Bryan Archambeau a year ago this month, after he held up two stores and got away with alcohol and vape pens.
