Two young adults and a juvenile were arrested as suspects in a fatal San Jose shooting last month that police say was gang-related.

After more than six months, San Jose police have arrested the suspect in the city's 13th homicide of 2024, which occurred in a homeless camp, authorities said.

Three teenage suspects have been arrested in connection to a fatal shooting in San Jose last month, the San Jose Police Department announced Wednesday. On Oct. 27 at around 2:38 a.m., SJPD patrol officers responded to a report of a person shot in the 100 block of South Second Street.

San Jose officers arrested a man suspected in 41 retail thefts throughout the city since August, according to police.

San Jose police said three people were in custody on suspicion of shooting and killing a man in October, according to a department press release. The two adult suspects were identified Wednesday as 19-year-old Milpitas resident Addam Nieto and 18-year-old San Jose resident Brian Medina.
