As rumors around the Samsung Galaxy S25 have increased in number, we've started to hear reports of an additional 'Slim' model in the pipeline – and this particular handset could be set for a major camera boost, according to a new leak.

The upcoming flagship appears to feature rounded corners instead of the boxy design of the previous iterations, aligning with earlier rumours.

A new leak claims that the Samsung Galaxy S25 Slim's camera system will put that of Apple's iPhone 17 Air to shame.

The first thing to note is that Samsung typically takes just over two weeks between the Galaxy Unpacked launch event and the official release day — preferring to release those phones on a Friday. There are some discrepancies to that trend: The Galaxy S20 took almost a month to be released, though it still stuck with the Friday release day.

This year, Samsung is expected to host the Unpacked event in the US. Therefore, the launch time and date may differ based on region.
