The fire broke out Tuesday evening at the Inman Grove Senior Citizen Residence in Menlo Manor, and forced the evacuation of 240 of its living units, according to a release from Edison Mayor Sam Joshi’s office. Two of those evacuated were hospitalized in critical condition Tuesday night, authorities said.

Edison police have advised residents to avoid the area of Inman and Grove avenues where the senior citizen housing complex is located.
