Robin van Persie has been appointed Feyenoord head coach on a contract through to the summer of 2027. The former Arsenal and Manchester United striker will be assisted by Rene Hake, who spent the first part of the 2024-25 season as assistant coach to Erik ten Hag at Old Trafford.

Robin van Persie has been confirmed as the new Feyenoord manager, as the former Manchester United and Arsenal striker departs Eredivisie side Heerenveen.

Robin van Persie has returned to his former club Feyenoord as their new coach after a deal was reached to release him from his position at Heerenveen. The 41-year-old Dutchman has signed a contract until June 2027 and will be joined by assistant coach Rene Hake, who briefly worked under Erik ten Hag at Manchester United.
