In a huge boost to Allu Arjun's upcoming film Pushpa 2: The Rule, the release date of Vicky Kaushal and Rashmika Mandanna-starrer Chhaava has been postponed by more than two months. The film will now hit theatres on February 14, 2025, days ahead of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Jayanti.

With Pushpa 2 generating massive buzz nationwide and Chhava offering a powerful historical narrative, the reshuffle seems like a win-win for both films. The new date also gives Chhava the opportunity to craft its promotional strategy without being overshadowed by the Pushpa juggernaut.

Amid speculations about a potential clash between Vicky Kaushal's historical drama Chhava and Allu Arjun's Pushpa 2: The Rule, the makers have decided to move Chhava's release to February 2025. Trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to X (formerly Twitter) to make this announcement on Wednesday evening.
