An investigation into the Aug. 13 fire on the 1500 block of 11th Avenue South revealed the cause to be "incendiary/intentional," according to the Minneapolis Fire Department.

Investigators have determined a massive fire at a Minneapolis apartment building back in August, that left two people dead, was intentionally set.

Along with the two people who died, Minneapolis Fire says four others were hurt and dozens more were forced from their home.

On August 13th around 9:42 p.m., fire crews responded to a fire at a four-story apartment building in south Minneapolis. Two people died, four were injured, and dozens were displaced.
