After a chilly month and a very brisk and cold Thursday, believe it or not, there is rain on the way for the final day of January. Snow lovers don't click away just yet!  There is some wintry weather in the forecast Friday as

A storm later on Friday is expected to deliver rain and possibly as much as 2 inches of snow, before another snowstorm is expected to come on Sunday.

The National Weather Service is forecasting 2 to 3 inches of snow across the region. The best chance for the higher snowfall amounts may be in western and northern Massachusetts. Untreated roads may be snow covered and slippery for the Wednesday morning commute.
