The Louisiana Senate has proposed keeping the film incentive, though with a reduced cap, after the House voted to repeal it last week.

The Louisiana Legislature will retain the state’s film tax incentive program but with an adjusted credit amount. In a statement, Gamble PR announced that the incentives would continue; however, the reimbursement cap was decreased from $150 million to $125.
