According to LifeFlight of Maine, recently, a LifeFlight crew was 2,000 feet in the air traveling towards Sanford when a laser was pointed at the helicopter. The incident occurred at approximately 7:45pm in the Scarborough area. Fortunately no crew were injured and the pilot was able to continue and land safely.
