Latah County Prosecutor Bill Thompson said he blocked Dylan Mortensen from being within Bryan Kohberger's view while she read a victim impact statement.
The facility is about 20 minutes outside Boise, where Kohberger appeared in court Wednesday to be sentenced to four consecutive life sentences plus 10 years for the fatal stabbings of Kaylee Goncalves, Madison Mogen, Xana Kernodle and Ethan Chapin.
This new information comes from two friends of Kaylee Goncalves who spoke with police in interviews that were just unsealed by the Moscow Police Department.
