In September, Kinetik and Midland-based Diamondback Energy Inc. (Nasdaq: FANG) together acquired 30% of equity interest in Epic Crude Holdings LP, an affiliate of Epic Midstream Holdings LP. Kinetik and Diamondback now both hold 27.5% of Epic Crude, which operates a 700-mile crude pipeline from the Permian Basin to Corpus Christi.
