Milwaukee County Judge Dugan trial: Live updates Tuesday, Dec. 16
Testimony will continue in the trial of Milwaukee County Judge Hannah Dugan on Tuesday, Dec. 16.
CONLEY COMMENTARY (WSAU) – Opening arguments in Judge Hannah Dugan’s trial show that she has a weak case. There’s little doubt as to what she did and why she did it.
Opening remarks by Assistant U.S. Attorney Keith Alexander kicked off an extraordinary trial for a public official. Milwaukee County Circuit Judge Hannah Dugan is charged with obstruction and concealment for her actions this spring during President Donald Trump’s immigration crackdown.
Hannah Dugan faces charges of concealing a person and obstruction after prosecutors allege she interfered when ICE agents attempted to arrest Eduardo Flores Ruiz at the Milwaukee courthouse in April.
Rallies led by labor, immigrant rights and faith groups are expected to start on Dec. 15, the first day of Dugan's high-profile trial.
