Austin Butler and Jeremy Allen White will face off in A24 crime film “Enemies” from writer-director Henry Dunham (“Bushido,” “The Standoff at Sparrow Creek”). The casting was confirmed on Wednesday after rumors had been swirling for a while.

Luckily, Austin Butler and Jeremy Allen White fall into that first camp, although they’ll be playing the second. The two stars will topline Henry Dunham’s Enemies, a new crime thriller from A24, Deadline reports.

Jeremy Allen White got the message from the Boss loud and clear. Scott Cooper, director of the upcoming Bruce Springsteen biopic “Deliver Me from Nowhere,” was trying to convince White, star of “The Bear,” to play Springsteen in the film. White wasn't so sure.
