Boston hasn't missed a beat on their journey for back-to-back titles. In that stellar win against the Cavs, they shot the lights out from three-point range. The Celtics converted 22-of-47 threes against Cleveland, good for 52.7%. They made 287 threes over a 15-game span, the most ever in NBA history, per ESPN Research Producer Matt Williams.

But the Celtics have started their 2024-25 NBA regular season campaign with guns ablaze, their Mazzula Ball-fueled offense and league-leading depth under Tatum's leadership carving a path through the league in the early part of this season.

There's no doubt that the Boston Celtics' star power forward Jayson Tatum is a frontrunner for NBA MVP this season. So far, Tatum is averaging 29.9 points, 8.1 total rebounds, 5.9 assists, and 1.4 steals per game across the first 15 games of the season.

The Boston Celtics received great news regarding Kristaps Porzingis’s potential return earlier in the week. On Monday, Porzingis practiced with the Maine Celtics, the Celtics’ G League team. He is on track to get back to playing before the end of the year.
