COVENTRY, R.I. (WPRI) — Multiple law enforcement agencies were back searching a wooded area in Coventry Tuesday morning. Coventry detectives, FBI agents and a Rhode Island State Police K-9 unit were seen digging through the woods and raking leaves in the area of Gadoury Avenue.

COVENTRY − A police investigation linked to the discovery of human remains, and assisted by the FBI, has repeatedly brought investigators to wooded areas in the town's Anthony section. Investigators were seen again in woods near Gadoury Avenue and also near Eisenhower Street throughout the day on Monday.

Coventry police said Tuesday that a search in the woods off Gadoury Avenue is related to an older human remains case. Police said officers taking part in the search want to locate any additional evidence that may be in the area.
