Snow squalls are scattered but intense when and where they happen. NWS Indianapolis says you could be driving fine when suddenly roads are hazardous.

According to the NWS Indianapolis, one main concern for the week is potential snow showers and squalls impacting drivers on the roads during commute.

Strong gusts of winds and bursts of snow are expected across all of central Indiana Wednesday afternoon. Visibility is expected to be reduced during the evening commute with the heavy snow and 30 – 40 mph winds.

The National Weather Service issued a report at 2:02 p.m. on Wednesday for snow squalls until 9 p.m. for Crawford County.
