India lost the wicket of Akash Deep, who along with Jaspit Bumrah helped avoid follow-on. Akash was, stumped off Travis Head as India were all out for 260 and trailing by 185 runs during the final day of the third Test against Australia in Brisbane on Wednsday (December 18, 2024).

Should the rain relent and gift even one session of play, Australia could seize the moment by declaring without facing a single delivery (forfeit an inning), as per the rules outlined by the MCC.
