A Massachusetts high school student was detained over the weekend in an immigration law enforcement operation targeting his father.

Operation Patriot resulted in the arrest of nearly 1,500 illegals, including murderers, rapists, drug traffickers and child sex predators, in Massachusetts.

Immigration officials were searching for Marcelo Gomes' father when they said they came across the teenager during a traffic stop.
