Never one to mince words, President-elect Donald Trump’s former national security adviser John Bolton blasted his decision to re-appoint firebrand political commentator Seb Gorka as a senior director for counterterrorism.

In a statement, Donald J. Trump lauded the firebrand conservative commentator as a “tireless advocate” for his agenda. There was no mention that Mr. Gorka had been forced out of the Trump administration in 2017.

Gorka played a role in the first Trump administration, where he was dogged by concerns about his inflammatory views.
