The Council on Foreign Relations announced former U.S. secretary of commerce and governor of Rhode Island Gina Raimondo, will join the CFR.

The Council on Foreign Relations, an influential research organization founded in 1922, announced Monday that Raimondo will join the group as a distinguished fellow. While the organization is headquartered in New York City, Raimondo will be based at its office in Washington, D.C.
