Tuesday, March 4, has been designated a First Alert Weather Day.A strong storm system arriving early next week will bring the potential for severe thunderstorms Tuesday. The Storm Prediction Center has placed all of East Texas under a Slight Risk (Level 2 out of 5) for severe weather.

There are still vast differences in storm track and potential for snow accumulation. A mix of sun and clouds late week and cool. Clear and cold Saturday night into Sunday morning, with lows in the single digits.

We are starting the day with a variety of temperatures. Most of us are in the 40s with a few areas in the upper 30s.
