The FIA have declared their verdict over an incident that occurred with Max Verstappen at the Singapore Grand Prix, resulting in a punishment. Verstappen went into the Singapore GP weekend desperate to try and stop the tide of momentum that is going against him in the drivers' championship.

Seven-time Formula 1 world champion Lewis Hamilton was not a fan of recent comments made by FIA president Mohamed Ben Sulayem. Hamilton said that there was a "racial element" to the comments made by Sulayem when addressing the FIA's plans to crack down on drivers using profanity over their team radios.

The FIA wants the Formula One drivers to watch their language and asked Formula One Management to limit broadcasts with swearing. Some drivers, though, feel the sport’s governing body is being too sensitive.
