Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma will return to the India fold after a month-long break. India will be missing the services of Jasprit Bumrah in the ODI series.

England captain Jos Buttler won the toss and elected to bat first as Virat Kohli misses out due to knee problem.

The ODI series against England is India's only tune-up tournament for the Champions Trophy, to be held in Pakistan and Dubai from February 19.

Gill, who dropped down to No.3 as India handed debut to Yashasvi Jaiswal, smashed 87 off 96 balls to help India chase down the 249-run target in 38.4 overs.
