The actress joins the Lionsgate movie adaptation as the Panem stylist who was first portrayed in the franchise by Elizabeth Banks.

Confirming what’s been rumored for weeks, Elle Fanning is now set for the role of Effie Trinket, stylist for Haymitch Abernathy in the lead-up to the 50th Hunger Games, in Lionsgate ‘s The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping, an adaptation of the bestseller by Suzanne Collins.

Panem has found its new Effie Trinket in Elle Fanning, who has officially joined the star-studded cast of the upcoming prequel “The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping.” The franchise announced Fanning’s casting on its official social media pages on Tuesday night,
