Someone behind the wheel of a stolen car drove over an East Orange school's football field and into basketball court bleachers Tuesday, police say.

The pursuit began in Newark, following a home break-in 15 miles away in Fort Lee, and ended when the vehicle jumped a curb onto Columbian Park’s field, leaving tire marks.

Officials say the suspect vehicle drove through Newark with only three wheels while trying to evade New Jersey State Police.
