Former NFL star Drew Brees' pickleball company will soon open in Seattle's Fremont neighborhood. A 26,500-square-foot pickleball center will take over the former space occupied by Theo Chocolate in Seattle's Fremont neighborhood. Picklr, co-owned by former NFL quarterback Drew Brees, operates 20 clubs nationwide and has sold over 500 franchise locations worldwide,

Former NFL quarterback Drew Brees will bring the pickleball to Seattle as his company, Picklr will open an indoor facility there. The facility will open at a 26,500-square-foot warehouse. The estimated cost of construction is $1 million.

Picklr, based in Utah, will take over the 26,532-square-foot space, according to plans filed by the company in early December. The facility will be at 124 N 35th St. in Seattle's Fremont neighborhood. Theo Chocolate closed the factory in 2023, according to multiple reports.
