The World Chess Championship match between D. Gukesh and Ding Liren will consist of 14 games. The first player to score 7.5 points will be crowned the World Champion. If the match ends in a tie after all 14 games, a tiebreak will be held the following day to determine the winner.

Indian grandmaster D. Gukesh and defending champion Ding Liren played out a draw in the fourth round to remain level on points in the World Chess Championship battle in Singapore on Friday, 29 November. The two players signed peace after 42 moves and are tied on 2 points each after four games of the 14-round showdown.

Teenage world champion challenger Gukesh Dommaraju has beaten title holder Ding Liren in the third game of their match. This levels the score at 1.5 points apiece after Ding won in round 1.
