German leaders said they are exploring the possibility that a fiery cargo plane crash in Lithuania on Monday was the result of sabotage or hybrid warfare.

Police have appealed for public help following the crash of a cargo plane in Lithuania on Monday morning. Police chief Arūnas Paulauskas called on the people of Vilnius to provide the authorities with any videos that may contain information about the crashed aircraft.

A DHL cargo plane crashed as it came in to land at Lithuania’s Vilnius airport on Monday morning, killing one person in what Germany’s foreign minister later said could be an accident or a hybrid attack in “volatile times”.
