Broncos wide receiver A.T. Perry ( ankle) has been designated as physically unable to perform, according to the NFL's transaction wire. Perry still counts against the team's active roster, and he is eligible to be activated from the list as soon as he's able to practice. Going on the list simply means Perry is not yet able to practice.

According to DNVR’s Zac Stevens, wide receiver A.T. Perry will start training camp on the Physically Unable to Perform list. He continues by saying that Perry will be the only member of the team to start camp on the PUP,

Fant was part of the historical trade between the Broncos and the Seahawks ahead of the 2022 season that sent Russell Wilson to Denver in exchange for what turned out to be eight players. Fant spent the past three seasons with the Seahawks, putting up respectable numbers, but he only had one touchdown catch in the last two seasons combined.

NFL Media reports Fant had another $510,000 in per-game roster bonuses on the books for this season, so the release clears a total of $9 million in cash. Fant came over to Seattle as a part of the infamous Russell Wilson trade with the Denver Broncos,

Fant, the No. 20 overall pick in 2019, played three seasons in Seattle after originally landing with the team as part of the 2022 Russell Wilson trade with the Denver Broncos. While he was good, Fant never quite lived up to his draft position despite continuing to be paid like a near-premium tight end.
