A 24-year-old lyricist from Karnataka has been arrested for allegedly issuing a death threat to Bollywood actor Salman Khan and himself. This was done in hopes of generating publicity for his song in an upcoming film with Salman Khan.

Last week, Mumbai police received a call threatening Shah Rukh Khan and a ransom demand of Rs 50 lakh. Later, an extortion case was filed following the complaint of the actor.
