DALLAS – Colin Blackwell scored at 17:46 of overtime to give the Dallas Stars a 4-3 win against the Colorado Avalanche in Game 2 of the Western Conference First Round at American Airlines Center on Monday.

- Could the Avalanche get a key piece back for Game 2? Colorado activated Gabriel Landeskog off injured reserve Monday. Landeskog, Colorado’s captain, has not played in an NHL game since June 26, 2022, when he and the Avalanche beat Tampa Bay to win the Stanley Cup.

Colin Blackwell scored 17:46 into overtime and the Dallas Stars beat the Colorado Avalanche 4-3 on Monday night in Game 2 to even up their first-round Western Conference series. Blackwell initially took a shot that ricocheted off teammate Sam Steel and Avs defenseman Samuel Girard in front of the net.
