Doomsday? Well… according to Captain America himself he isn't. Though The Hollywood Reporter confirmed in December that Evans would be dipping back into the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the actor is now denying those reports.

The actor last appeared as Captain America in 2019's 'Avengers: Endgame' and made a different Marvel cameo in 2024's 'Deadpool & Wolverine'Chris Evans is seemingly shutting down claims that he will be returning to the Marvel Cinematic Universe as Captain America.

Chris Evans has responded to the recent report that he's returning for Avengers: Doomsday, either as Steve Rogers/ Captain America or another character. An article from Deadline in December "confirmed" that the actor had signed on for Marvel's next big team-up film, due out next year.
