A man accused of a stabbing spree in the Chinatown-International District appeared in court, where a judge found probable cause.

The Seattle Police Department reported it arrested a suspect after a mass stabbing in the Chinatown-International District left five injured.

A man has been arrested in connection with a spate of random stabbings over two days in Seattle, in which nine people were injured – five of them on Friday afternoon, police said.

Seattle police said the nine stabbings occurred over a period of two days. The attacks were believed to be random in nature.
