Todd Cantwell’s first-half penalty clinched Blackburn Rovers a 1-0 victory over Leeds at Ewood Park as Daniel Farke’s side missed out on the chance to return to the top of the Championship.

Todd Cantwell, who worked with United boss Daniel Farke at Norwich City, scored the only goal of the contest from the penalty spot. The midfielder slotted home from 12 yards in the 22nd minute after Ao Tanaka upended Tyrhys Dolan in the box.
