Fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah took five wickets for 30 runs as Australia was bowled out for 104 in its first innings in reply to India’s 150 on the second day of the opening match of the five-test series.

Australia's first-innings total in Perth is their second lowest in home Tests against India, after the 83 all-out in Melbourne in 1981. It is also Australia's third-lowest total in home Tests since 1985 and their fourth-lowest total in the format against India.

India have managed a 46 run lead in the first innings as they bundled Australia for a total of 104. Captain Jasprit Bumrah was the star of Indian bowling lineup, taking his 11th fifer while Harshit Rana played a significant hand with a 3-fer.

Bumrah however, rendered that moot with the first ball he bowled on the second morning, getting the wicketkeeper-batter to nick one behind to Rishabh Pant. From the other end, Harshit Rana kept up his zip and aggression from the opening day.
