A 21-year-old fell about 30 feet from a waterfall into rocky water, Maine officials said. Rescuers responded Wednesday, Aug. 13, to Screw Auger Falls, the Maine Department of Inland Fisheries & Wildlife said in a Facebook post. The man had fallen from a ledge, “landed in the water and sustained serious injuries in the fall,” officials said.
