Alisha Moopen, Deputy Managing Director of Aster DM Healthcare stated that the merger will deliver substantial synergies in cost savings, procurement, and insurance negotiations, while increasing EBITDA margins from 17% to 19%.

Aster DM is expected to post a revenue of Rs 340-350 crore on an annualised basis in FY25, with an Earning Per Share of Rs 6.8 per share.

Aster DM Healthcare and Blackstone and TPG-backed Quality Care have decided to merge to create one of India's top three hospital chains.

Based on the swap ratio recommended in the valuation report, the Aster promoters will hold 24 per cent and Blackstone 30.7 per cent in the merged entity

The combined entity will have a portfolio of brands, including Aster DM, CARE Hospitals, KIMSHEALTH, and Evercare.

In the merged entity, Aster promoters and Blackstone will hold 24% and 30.7% stakes, respectively, while the balance 45.3% will be owned by other shareholders.

Aster DM Healthcare Limited will acquire 1.9 crore shares of QCIL at Rs 445.8 per share. The board approved allotment of 1.86 crore shares of the company to QCIL shareholders.

TV18 newsbreak, Aster DM Healthcare has announced a merger with Blackstone-backed Quality Care India Ltd. through a share swap ratio. As per the merger, Aster DM will allot 1.86 crore shares of itself to acquire 1.
