Nogueira, who is also an actress and playwright, is becoming a formative figure behind the scenes for the DCU. As well as writing Supergirl, she is also the custodian of the universe’s Teen Titans, which have a live-action adaptation in development.

DC Studios has hired “Supergirl” screenwriter Ana Nogueira to write its reboot of “Wonder Woman,” Variety has confirmed. Nogueira is also writing a live-action “Teen Titans” for the studio. Wonder Woman has become a major priority for the studio.

DC Studios co-chief James Gunn mentioned back in June that a new ‘Wonder Woman’ movie was in the process of being written, and now Nogueira is aboard.
