After an absence of more than six years, Las Vegas-based Allegiant Air is resuming service at Colorado Springs Airport with three new routes starting early next year.

Allegiant Airlines will begin services out of Colorado Springs and launch new Denver routes next year, the airline announced Tuesday.

From DIA, Allegiant will fly to Idaho Falls, Idaho and Stockton, California beginning in May. In all, Allegiant said, the added flights expand the airline's network in 51 cities.
