Despite that, Schefter and colleague Mel Kiper Jr., the latter of whom rated Sanders as the top QB in the 2025 class, expressed extreme shock that not a single franchise made a bet on the Colorado star ahead of the draft's final day. As for his part, Sanders took to X with a brief and positive message.
