There are parking lots located across the street beside the museum, you have to cross the street and walk up to the main entrance. There are also limited parking meters, but I've never been that lucky at an event. I would suggest getting there 30 to 45 minutes early to use the parking lots, they are a paid lot, just a few dollars but worth it, hope that helps.

Hi Patty, If you are looking for an overnight area with camping to park your RV the closest area is the campgrounds at Kanawha State Forest. This is a beautiful area with quick access (10 minutes) to both downtown Charleston and the shops and restaurants at Southridge Center. Navigating the roads with an RV over 26 ft could be difficult so I would recommend calling before you go to verify you can get your vehicle in. A little more remote option is the Little Coal rive Campground about 25 mins south of Charleston. Here you are still near the shops/restaurants at Southridge Center but a little farther from Charleston. I don't know a lot about this campground but they do have RV spaces. For an easier to access option the KOA at Fox Fire is a good option. This is a little farther from Charleston (~45min drive) but is near restaurants and shops around the Huntington Mall. If you just want to drop the RV for the afternoon there is an easy to access Walmart Supercenter at the Nitro Marketplace about 15 minutes west of Charleston. Hope this helps. Enjoy your trip!
