I’m glad we spent an afternoon here and in the town of Hanalei. It has a more fun vibe. Good energy. Fine sand. Unlike beaches nearby with trees, this one has no shade.Full review by Snarglebop

Beautiful view and fairly placid waves. Perfect for bobbing. The lifeguards directed the swimmers away from the rip current and surfers. Much appreciated.Full review by seattlesez

Are reservations required?

In Nov 2022, no reservations were required to park at Hanalei Beach. However, capacity is an issue at times so folks park on the road.
