Absolutely stunning "accidentally" stumbled upon this on our way thru and I'm so glad we did! It's gorgeous and I learned so much from the information signs displayed. A must seeFull review by Yvonne Couch

Are you able to pull an RV on the roads?
A:
We stayed on the main road, but did not continue on to Wupatki Visitor Center. So yes, the part we drove an RV could drive without any problems.

Is there an entry and/or parking fee?
A:
I think there is a fee like any other Nat'l Park, Heritage site,or Conservation area. We have a lifetime, old-folks pass. Covid may affect that.

Get there at sunrise and you won’t have to pay anything. We drove through the entire park for free. We even spoke with one of the park rangers who told us as long as you’re there …

Get there at sunrise and you won’t have to pay anything. We drove through the entire park for free. We even spoke with one of the park rangers who told us as long as you’re there before 9 AM you don’t have to pay anything because they are not open yet. There was also hardly anyone there that early and we almost had the entire place to ourselves!

There are different hikes for different views. You can walk through lava flows from a great little park next to the highway. There is a nice walking path from the visitor center that’s a loop. The trail that goes up the hill to the overlook wasn’t that impressive and a bit of an easy hike. As you drive in you see massive lava flows. I was shocked on how large they really are. Go see it, there are probably much more you can do.
